Airmid is a holistic health and wellness center offering yoga, meditation, tai chi, and workshops designed to inspire personal growth and community connection. Alongside these offerings, our licensed therapists provide counseling for individuals of all ages, complemented by alternative therapies such as Reiki, acupuncture, and massage.

Founded over a decade ago and inspired by the Celtic goddess of healing, Airmid was created as a safe, nurturing space for mind, body, and spirit. Our beautiful facility continues to grow, expanding into an educational hub with classes, retreats, and corporate wellness programs that support balance in all areas of life.

At Airmid, our dedicated team delivers compassionate, personalized care to help you restore harmony, cultivate resilience, and live with greater well-being.

Our Center Leaders

Marianne Welch-Salkind

Owner, President, Clinical Director

Marianne holds a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Holy Family University, Philadelphia, PA, and brings over 20 years of experience in working with children, adults, veterans, and foster care children. She is a Certified EMDR Therapist, EMDRIA-approved Consultant, and a certified practitioner of Safe & Sound Protocol, as well as a licensed massage therapist with over 30 years of teaching experience in massage therapy. Additionally, she is certified in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction from Jefferson Hospital, specializing in helping adults recover from childhood trauma. Marianne is the President and Owner of Airmid Wellness & Counseling Center.

Beth Bloom

Critical Incident Program Manager, Clinical Supervisor

Beth has been with Airmid since November, 2019, and has enjoyed working with clients and other clinicians as a support. She had previously worked as a director of a residential treatment facility prior to joining Airmid, but found that she much preferred providing a safe place for clients to address their issues and needs. Beth enjoys working with a variety of diagnosis and client populations. When she is not "in session", she enjoys traveling to the beach, visiting her daughter at college and reading, and thrift stores.

Sam Friend

Intake Coordinator

Sam began at Airmid Wellness Center in June 2022. She worked as a therapist for a year and a half before transitioning into her current role in Intake. Sam finds her role rewarding because she is able to match people with the Therapist and care that they deserve. In her free time, Sam coaches travel softball and enjoys spending time outside!

Sarah Smith

Director of Wellness

Sarah oversees programs that promote holistic wellness by combining ancient wisdom with modern practices to inspire balance & growth. She guides Airmid’s mission for compassionate care & community well-being through meditation, yoga, & community. Her workshops and retreats enhance physical health and promote emotional resilience and spiritual awareness. By highlighting the mind-body-spirit connection, she helps individuals recognize their intrinsic value. Collaborating with Airmid’s team, Sarah seeks innovative ways to expand offerings to meet community needs, aiming to create a supportive community where everyone feels empowered to contribute to collective health & happiness.

Ed Salkind

CFO, Business Manager

With decades of experience in marketing, sales, and entrepreneurship, Ed has played a key role in Airmid’s growth since 2017. His leadership reflects both business insight and a genuine dedication to holistic health and community well-being. Ed has guided Joy of Living wellness retreats, creating transformative experiences that empower individuals to connect with their inner selves. Additionally, he developed Airmid’s WorkWell program, which is designed to support employee wellness and personal growth through innovative strategies and resources. His commitment to fostering a healthy work environment has positively impacted countless lives, promoting a culture of well-being. Through his efforts, Ed continues to inspire others to prioritize their health and well-being in both personal and professional spheres.

Meg Clawson

Director of Child's Center, Clinical Supervisor

Meg Clawson serves as the Director of the Children’s Play Therapy Center and a Clinical Supervisor. With deep compassion and leadership, Meg oversees the center’s programs, ensuring a nurturing, therapeutic environment for children and families. She is dedicated to creating a space where children can express themselves freely and heal through play. Additionally, Meg provides clinical guidance and support to the therapy team, fostering professional growth and excellence in care. Her commitment to Airmid enhances the overall effectiveness of the center. Through her efforts, families find hope and healing. Meg’s vision drives the center towards continuous improvement and innovation in therapeutic practices.

Dawn McKeon

Billing Manager

Dawn handles insurance verification and billing inquiries so that you can focus on your personal healing journey! She enjoys time in nature and spending time with her family!
