Integrating the Power of Mindfulness and Movement into our Everyday Lives
With Mindfulness, we practice maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment, through a gentle, nurturing lens. Mindfulness also involves acceptance, meaning that we pay attention to our thoughts and feelings without judging them—without believing that there’s a “right” or “wrong” way to think or feel in a given moment. We learn to tune into what we’re sensing in the present moment rather than rehashing the past or imagining the future.
When we practice Mindfulness, we experience wonderful benefits such as:

Affordable Community Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the gentle insertion of very fine needles into specific points on the body. This process stimulates movement of energy within the body, allowing natural healing to take place. Held in an open room group setting in a comfortable chair. Pay what you wish on a sliding scale of $30-$45. We primarily treat the head, hands, feet, and lower parts of arms and legs. If you are new to acupuncture or on a limited budget, this format could be great for you.

Acupuncture Clinic is held every Friday. Schedule your appointment time or drop in any Friday 3 to 5:45pm.

Tension & Trauma Release Exercises (or TRE®) is a simple yet innovative series of exercises and stretches that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension, and trauma.
Created by Dr. David Berceli, PhD, TRE® safely activates a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension and held stress, calming down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance and harmony.

Teen Girl Empowerment Class

To support, inspire, and empower young women between the ages of 12-14 as they journey through the challenges of their teens and into young womanhood.
Participants learn fun, practical, and creative tools that will help them confidently step into their inner strength, introduce them to their wise inner-compass, and assist them in uncovering their purpose in life!

Class Focus: ➤ Having safe, empowering, and courageous conversations around important teen issues such as difficult relationships, social media, self-esteem, peer pressure, body-image issues, and more… ➤ Exploring the importance of emotions, expression, and compassionate communication… ➤ Learning necessary life tools that can change your life… ➤ Experiencing mindfulness and meditation exercises that can be used throughout life to reduce stress, increase clarity, and self-connection… ➤ Playing interactive games & getting creative with art, music, and movement… ➤ Making new friends who share similar struggles… ➤ Discovering your unique gifts & talents in order to step confidently into life… ➤ Understanding your intuition and how to cultivate strong and healthy boundaries… ➤ Using smart ‘goal setting’ & creating healthy habits to help you achieve your dreams for the future.
