Do you feel disconnected from your partner? Unable to resolve conflicts that have been plaguing you for years? Stressed out by challenging children and adolescents? It is not uncommon to feel emotionally distant from your significant other after many years together, but many couples suffer in lonely silence, feeling the pain of misunderstanding. This can lead to depression, affairs, and addictions.
The key to transforming a relationship begins with an emotional connection. It may be time to take a hard look at how you and your partner get along, and how you ‘keep the peace’. It’s not too late.
I am a practitioner of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I can help you reconnect, build trust, and rediscover intimacy with your partner. EFT is a clinically proven approach for distressed couples. More than 70% of couples receiving EFT recover from symptoms of relationship distress, and almost 90% report improvements in their relationship.
I am also a pediatric occupational therapist. I have worked with parents of special needs children for years. I provide support for couples coping with the stress of a recent diagnosis, ancillary services and dealing with extended family input. I have worked within the Early Intervention System as a clinician and an evaluator.
Jane holds a Master’s of Family Therapy (MFT) from Drexel University. She is also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Jane began working with families in 1988, after earning a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in 1988.
